BIG MISTAKE
We have a Symbol Plus 2021. We had a towbar fitted for the new van . . . so we could use our old bike rack which carried our two 21kg + battery Kalhoff electric bikes on our old Adria Coral. Shock horror our new van needs the back doors open to get the toilet cassette out!!! So every time the loo needs emptying pretty much every 24 hrs when you reach a certain age, we have to take the bikes off and remove the bike rack which is a real pain in the a..e!!
My question to all is . . . do you know of a tow bar bike rack for two electric bikes ie 44kg combined weight which tilts enough for me to get the cassette by opening the two back doors without taking the whole lot off and getting a hernia in the process!!! Thanks in anticipation of an easier life! 🤪

Re: BIG MISTAKE
There is a ‘swing out’ solution which hopefully will solve your problem. I’m sure others will be along soon with more details.
I don’t think it’s cheap though.

We have a Thule velospace designed for electric bikes, I’ve not yet attempted to tilt it to see if I can open the back doors. I suspect you may not be able to open them fully.

Google van-swing and van-star bike racks, you'll also find them on YouTube.

Well, its not 44Kg. Its 44Kg + weight of towbar +weight of towbar bike rack, so more like my weight, 75Kg approx 1.5m behind rear axle. Also payload reduced by 75Kg.
Just a thought.......

Re: BIG MISTAKE
This Altera sport M3 is perfect as it tilts so the rear barn doors can open, its out of stock at
Which is cheapest I have seen, hopefully will be in stock soon.
I say get the M3 because it tilts further than the M2 so barn door can open.
YouTube video below show how it works its in German but video tells the story
