Hello from Belfast
Hello everyone from sunny (at the moment) Belfast.
I'm picking up a 2000 Topaz on Thursday. We had a look at it in January over in Morecambe (Bayview Cars)
It's one of the few motorhomes that are self contained that will fit on our driveway. I have to say I've been impressed with the reputation that Auto-Sleepers have for build quality.
It has been Mot'd and Hab checked, so hopefully all I have to do is drive it. Having said that, I'm a tinkerer and long time Land Rover owner, so I'm well used to getting my hands dirty. I plan to fit led interior lights and a solar panel/controller to help keep the habitation battery charged. I'm also going to replace the TV aerial with a 3g/4g one and fit a mobile 4g/WiFi unit to enable/improve mobile data on our travels.
Kind Regards, Dean

Re: Hello from Belfast
Welcome to the forum from a cold but bright corner of Lincolnshire. Nice choice of first van. From my experience of Landrovers you will notice a difference in build quality with the VW. Even so there’s always something to tinker with whilst you make you van to you’re liking.
Enjoy you’re travels.
Enjoy you’re travels.
