I have noticed that the hot air heating duct from the whale heater where it enters the van through the floor under the r/o/s bench seats is severely crushed as it takes a right angle turn between the floor and the plinth on which the water heater sits.

The attached photo does not show the full extent of the restricted air flow but I would judge it to be no more than 20mm wide at its narrowest point from a ducting of around 90mm diameter.  That’s is a restriction of of around 75%!

It would seem a 90 degree upvc pipe bend is required to eliminate crushing. 

It came out of the factory like this. Any thought?
