Lincoln Show
Anyone else going to this?
Clearly, we are, wonder if a chance to meet some other like minded souls?
Am meeting with one other (name not a secret but aware of confidentiality) already.
We are not in any specific area, at least don't think we are?
Arriving PM Fri, departing AM Sunday

We've been to Lincoln show every year for 10 years but not last year obviously but not this year either, so unfortunately won't get to meet you.

Anyone with underslung tank make sure you fill up before you go. If your hoping to fill up on the way, one garage in that area had a delivery last Thursday and has already sold out, so others may be getting low or already sold out, so if you pass a garage selling it, get it.

The guy who sells bottles at the shows never seems to have a problem. When there's been shortages of bottles before, he always seems to have loads.IanH wrote:Even bottled Calor big problem here now, esp in 6 and 7Kg sizes, 3 places I called this morning had none and don't expect any. Re: Lincoln Show
Great weekend to meet up with ASOC members old & new
So for those that ventured out to Lincoln last weekend, what are your thoughts about the show.
For once we can’t complain about the weather as it was 1st class for late September.
Good job it wasn’t this weekend.

Very crowded on the sat. Arrived early and had to q outside. Long q for those that pre-booked.
Shorter q for us that paid.
However at lunch time very crowded no seats available.
Would go later next time and miss the crush.

Re: Lincoln Show
Typically I got gas en route to the show, got there and it could have been delivered to my door, good price too.
Only been to 2 of these before, extremely dangerous places on 2 of those 3 occasions! Wallet wise anyway, bought 2 of our trucks at them!
As folks who don't usually use sites, frankly this wasn't really for us, sure great to meet with Terry and some others, for a vast amount of MH's there, like us as campers, the show itself I found small compared to Harrogate or Malvern, the others we have visited. May have been better if we were ASOC members and parked with Terry and others....
Really just kept on with it as we had already paid, if honest only reason for that was to see Jethro live. Sadly he retired and we had Brian Conley instead. Dire, walked out. Beatles before him were good though
