Re: Hydrolic Leveling
Just spoken to someone who has the much cheaper TESA system which is non-hydraulic and he gave me a demo. He has had it for over a year and is very happy with it. The jacks don't extend as far as some of the hydraulic systems do but they come with 4 pads to go under the jacks which help with the height and could be augmented with blocks if required. His was powered from the habitation/leisure battery whereas the hydraulic systems all seem to be powered from the vehicle battery. The system will not operate if the ignition is on which is a safety measure to ensure the jacks don't come down whilst the vehicle is being driven. In contrast the HPC system seems to require the ignition to be switch on to accessories and the E&P to have the engine running. The MA-VE and AMPLO systems seem to require the ignition to be off. Don't know about the Al-Ko.
