Are you referring to the vehicle's engine battery or the leisure battery for the habitation area 12V?

If it's the the engine battery, then it is likely that a 2001 model won't have the ability built in to charge the engine battery from EHU (electric hook up i.e. 240V) via the ZIG unit.

On our (2002 Pollensa) we had to fit a BatteryMaster to take charge from the leisure battery if there was a voltage difference. We needed this otherwise the alarm system drained the engine battery if the vehicle wasn't driven for a while.

Hi All, I feel that my A S executive has a split charging system, when the engine battery is fully charged it switches over to the leisure battery, plus I have a solar panel which keeps it topped up..
How ever charged up battery's via the zig, every thing fine for a month or 2, started it up the engine regularly, then one day everything flat.??
