New member saying “Hi”
Hi!
I became the owner of a 1988 Renault Rapport Autosleeper last year and happily inherited an A4 folder of information, including a bundle of official magazines of the Renault Traffic Motorhome Register. I also have most of the original manuals and sales brochure for my van. It was a real treat going through the information and also very useful when we were checking the wiring to refit a reclaimed fridge from another vehicle (same year/same model and works like a dream!)
I’m on the south coast and have already had a few trips in ‘Margo’ around the New Forest area.
I am interested in sourcing spare salvage parts, advice and also look forward to meeting other happy, like-minded owners who perhaps like me, are never in a hurry to get to their destination.
Warmest wishes
Suze

Hi and welcome from our corner of Lincolnshire.
I like the older Autosleepers based on the Renaults. They were built for the days of leisurely touring.
It must be a challenge to find a sound one these days. Rustproofing wasn’t at its best back then. Our Duetto was bad enough.
