Hi all, I am Dave M from Guildford Surrey. I'm a lone traveller (since losing my wife 2 years ago).
So, i have resently brought a 2011 Auto sleeper Cotswold, which I'm very pleased with. I am a keen cycles and like to cycle old railway lines and canals.

There are plenty of those and riding them is very enjoyable, but do recognise that (particularly with canals) sections may be closed for maintenance requiring you to divert and that you have to get back to your van. I suggest you don't plan extra long journeys - for me 30 mile on the flat is comfortable so I would go no more than 15 miles before turning back. I would also try to camp where I could do a ride one way on the first day and the other way on the second. As you are cycling you don't have to be pitched right at the start/finish so 5 van sites would be good but with the Cotswold, grass and wet weather don't go together. A canal side pub car park would be good for me,
