Hi everyone. I'm new to the Forum and Motorhoming. Just bought a 1998 Peugeot Symphony and sometimes wish we hadn't! Long story short - after two years of surgeries and chemo for bowel cancer I'm left with a fit and functioning body but a sometimes urgent need for a toilet. My wife suggested a small, compact motorhome that we can use as a daily vehicle, otherwise I'm kind of tied to the house. So we bought Gilou (fans of Spiral will know that he's a little French Pug!)  One thing that exacerbates my condition is stress - and boy has this van given us a lot of that! Nothing is insurmountable though, and with the help of these pages I am slowly getting to know our van, what works and what doesn't and (hopefully!) how we can fix it.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and getting our van on the road fit and well again (a bit like me).

Cheers all

Paul

Welcome.

This forum has helped reduce the stress levels (and our van was nearly new when bought!) Don't be afraid to ask what might seem to you daft questions.

Doing a section of the SW300 (New Abbey to Sandhead) over a few days in mid May if rules allow.

The Solway Coast is beautiful at any time of year but we particularly like it in late Spring. Enjoy!

Hi AliG. Don't know the site but I know Rockcliffe. Very pretty coastline there and Castlepoint is quite secluded. Good choice but hope the weather's a tad warmer for you!
