The great escape might start on 12th April?
Hi folks,
As reported on the news it looks like, subject subject to confirmation, the earliest we'll be able to get away is 12th April.
See [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
In particular see the end of paragraph Step 2 in the four steps section ...
"Self-contained accommodation such as campsites and holiday lets, where indoor facilities are not shared with other households, can also reopen"
... so, we need to be self contained for this first stage of release!
We can live with that!

England only at the moment. Hope they'll let us cross the border from Wales.

Very pleased the restrictions are staying until 12th April in England, we have come this far waiting a little longer can only give positive results.
The restriction on overseas travel is probably more likely to be determined for motorhomes by the ability of the host country to receive us, the infection levels in France are on a knife edge and could go either way at the moment. Flying to Greece may be a different story.

We await a decision on how Scotland will ease the restrictions but the big challenge up and down the country will be how the covidiots behave over the Easter break. I hope you are right about the 12th April but my gut feeling is we could be waiting until sometime in May.

Bit of unfortunate wording there GH; we definitely don't want more positive results.
Sorry for a bit of pedantry first thing in the morning.
