Re: Help flat batteries
its also reassuring because the battery is currently at 12.7v - and its been dark for a good thirty minutes plus down here . hopefully this suggests the battery is holding its charge then.
Even better, you have the EC700 switched off with the Black Button ? The Solar charge is directed to the Vehicle Battery only in that case.

Re: Help flat batteries
can I ask a very dumb newbie question? My leisure battery is a hankook DC27e.g. https://www.tayna.co.uk/leisure-batteries/hankook/dc27/
If I wanted to replace this 90Ah battery - could I replace it with one that was 100Ah or even 110ah. I have the EC 700 unit and an 80w solar panel up top.
What would be the implications of replacing it with a higher Ah? Forgive my complete ignorance in these matters

Re: Help flat batteries
In theory a 90Ah leisure battery has a working capacity of 45Ah. If it was a 110Ah battery its working capacity would be 55Ah so 22% more. Any replacement battery would need to fit in the existing battery box. If not you would have to source a larger box.
