Hello everybody from freezing Lancashire, recently bought our Pollensa (between lockdowns) after selling our Toyota camper earlier this year, it’s in really good condition for its age but I need to remember it’s almost 20 years old, I think the old lad that had it just used it as is but I like things to be right so I’m busy trying to bring it back up to spec, thankfully everything seems to work fine, main problem is whilst removing the overly large and heavy towbar I noticed the drain pipe from the waste tank was loose and didn’t want to go back in properly so when it’s not freezing or pouring down I’ll be back under it, anyhoo that’s enough of an introduction.

Hi Granvia, welcome to the forum. It's good to see another Pollensa owner joining. We've had ours for a while now and I'm still working my way round it, fixing and fettling - sometimes I think it's more of a hobby than a vehicle to go out and have adventures in!

Hi Granvia,

Welcome to the forum.  I agree with Slow-Lane.  It's good to see another Pollensa owner here.

Hi and welcome from a chilly top right corner of Lincolnshire. I think I came across a Toyota Granvia when we were in Australia. It was a day camper people carrier like the Ford Freda and Mazda Bongo.

Hi Dave, yes our Granvia was a jap import, it spoiled us a bit as it had only done 12 thousand miles from new and had only just been converted into a pop top camper, originally being a people carrier it had lots of toys unlike some normal van conversions , also it was a 3.4 V6 automatic awd, so many times I sat at lights with people seeing what they thought was a slow plodding old camper only to then see it pulling steadily away as that big V6 worked its magic, the thing that ruined it for us was the large roof mounted heating panel for the rear passengers which was just behind the front seats, it was right were you needed to stand up at the end of the rock and roll bed so made getting dressed for example an absolute chore , shame really as in most other respects it was great 🙂
