Hello from New Member
Hi all, I'm a new member from Stewarton, Ayrshire.
Bought a 2002 Harmony on a Peugeot Boxer base about a month ago.
Just having a habitation check done on it and finding a few issues, one being that can't find the battery charger - can anyone help? Phoned AS who thought it was behind a panel in cupboard below the hob, but not there, or in space below, where pump is. Any other ideas?
Many thanks
Pat

Hi Pat,
Welcome to the friendly forum. The charger is under the floor of the cupboard where the electric trip panel, charger switch and water heater switch are. There is a finger hole in the floor of the cupboard, pull the floor up it's not secured in my Harmony just a pressure fit. The charger is probably a Zig X-7.
You can ask anything on this forum, I'm fairly new myself and I'm so impressed with how helpful everyone is. Enjoy.

Thanks for reply.
We pulled up that panel, and nothing there. Could it have been pushed under floor? Very odd! Will have another look in the morning.

I was hoping it would be in a similar place to mine, but Paulmold has reported in other threads that Autosleeper put things in different places for different model years. Unless it has been modified I can't think where else they could hide it in the Harmony unless they mounted it with the leisure battery under the drivers seat. If it were in the same place as mine it is screwed down and can't slide about. Try putting your question on the AS van conversion section and see if you get other opinions. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum Pat. The charger may have a switch that is visiable in which case you could try and follow the wiring from the rear of the switch - good luck

Just been out for another look - found some disconnected wires, so looks as if it has been removed!
An additional battery has been fitted behind the drivers seat, under the bench seat, connected to the leisure battery under the drivers seat. This was disconnected, and there was a good charge showing on the meter above the back door. The service guy reconnected it, and now there is no charge at all!! Will they recharge if I take van for a run?
I'll post on technical forum too, thanks.
