Why has my account been deleted?

My account has been deleted - Why?
If you have received a notice that your forum account has been deleted it's because one of the following will apply
1) You have registered and created an account, but have not signed into the forum at the log in page.
2) You have created more than one account, or have duplicate accounts on the forum.
3) You have broken our forum rules, and as a result your account has been terminated.
4) You have way too much time on your hands, and think it's fun to create fictitious accounts.
5) Your details match known spammers or forum trolls, or we just don't like your attitude on our forum.
6) You have joined the forum just to promote something, your website, or your business.
7) Your account may have been accidentally deleted, if you feel this is the case please contact us for assistance.
You may question why we prune or delete accounts, unfortunately it is necessary to carry out this action due to the high volume of members that register but fail to then log in.
This image from our members list shows a number of members that show last visit "Never" which means these accounts are inactive for whatever reason.
We have no idea if these members are Spam Bots or Spammers - Spam prevention and deletions measurably increase the workload of forum administrators - We have better things to do with our time!
Another explanation is these could be genuine members that join the forum and are unsure how to actually sign in correctly, although this explanation is very unlikely it's a possibility - In this instance we would expect the member to contact us for assistance which almost all never do!
When members register to use the forum, our signup rules clearly state to sign into the forum within the first 48 hrs of registration or face deletion of your account - In other words "Use it or lose it!"
The very rare exception could be deletion of a genuine member who has signed in and even posted on the forum, this happened recently to a new member that showed in the memberlist as last visit "Never" and in this situation all we can do is apologise but have to be guided by our software.
Anyone who has experienced their account being deleted, can simply re-register to remain a member of our community.
Please try to understand why this action is necessary for the reasons mentioned above.
