Cotswold Motorhomes
Many members have purchased from Cotswold and would describe them as one of the good guys. I'm not looking to purchase but I was looking at dealer list on AS website and Cotswolds are not listed. Surely AS's longest-established dealers haven't been dropped have they? Cotswolds website still lists AS and they show several new vans in stock. If I were Cotswold, I wouldn't be very happy to not be listed if I were still a dealer. If you enter your location as Tewkesbury you get Nick Whale and Marquis Tewkesbury as your nearest dealers.

Cotswold decided that they no longer wanted to be a dealer to the disappointment of AS. Frank was not at the February show and I guess he decided it was time to run down to retirement. Looking at their website now they do seem to have a stock of new AS on site.

Thanks Peter. That's a shame. I would have thought Frank's son would have taken over.

Cotswold
That’s a shame, over the last few years I have purchased from Nick Whale , Marquis, and Cotswold, I would never buy from Marquis ever again totally useless in most areas, Nick Whale just as bad, Cotswold very good all depts always used their service dept never a problem sometimes when purchasing Frank didn’t have what we wanted or there was a long wait. Hope they can do my next service next May or I won’t know where to go.

Same down South, Dolphin Motorhomes are no longer AS dealer, such a shame as they have always gone out of their way to help and are family run. Did they drop or where they dropped?

I believe that is the plan.

Re: Cotswold Motorhomes
Cotswold are an excellent company to deal with.
We bought our used Nuevo from them and friends of ours were so impressed with our dealings with them that they bought a new 'van from them too.
We've since moved on to another manufacturer and dealer, as too did our friends.
Sadly, my friend was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and needed to sell their new 'van.
Cotswold agreed to sell it on their behalf and Frank and his wife drove down to collect the 'van themselves.
They've already sold it and as far as I'm aware the deal has already been settled.
I couldn't praise them more and hope Richard will continue their good work.
It would be a shame if they don't sell A/S any longer, but I wish them luck in whatever direction they go.

Re: Cotswold Motorhomes
I emailed AS to get the answer as to why Cotswold were not on their list of dealers when Cotswold have new stock and still display the AS logo.
I've had a response from David Williams to say Cotswold are making the transition to concentrate on used vans. He says Cotswold will continue to receive support from AS until such time that the last customers warranty has expired.

I believe Frank's son was a Burstner specialist, maybe he will take over and introduce other converters instead of As, especially with Marquis so close.
