New Members and new to Motorhoming and Dueto
Hi there
Firstly thanks for letting us join your Forum!
We are Stuart and Lindsay from Nottingham, retired and have recently bought a Dueto 2004 automatic which the Grand kids are Loving spending time in, even though it's not be off the driveway yet!
We have never been motorhoming before so are very much reliant on the dueto users guide book! and Youtube! so any advice and how to's will be more than appreciated! We did get a guided tour from the previous owner, but due to the virus it was short and distanced!
It's thanks to Dennis Downie from ASOC we found out about your Forum

Ask and you shall be informed, and remember there's no such thing as a daft question if you don't know the answer!
YouTube and Mr Google are your immediate friends, and if they don't know the answer, someone on here will!

Hi Stuart and Lindsay and welcome from the East Neuk of Fife.
Getting used to the van on the drive is good practice anyway, I'd even suggest spending a night or two sleeping in it before setting off further afield. That'll give you a good chance to check out how everything works and also be sure you've not forgotten to pack any critical piece of kit, without being too far from home.
Main thing is to enjoy it and have fun.

Re: New Members and new to Motorhoming and Dueto
Glad you like your Duetto Auto
We had a 2006 version and she went well
Watch out for accidentally catching the steering wheel gear change paddle's when in auto cos it will put you into manual and doubtless in a lower gear! Also if parking up for a period think about leaving the vehicle wheels blocked and drive in Park with the rear break off. We had the rear breaks ring on and the auto drive controy was not able to break it free.
Our Britannia rescue man went under it with a lump hammer and by a judicious whack to the drum casting was able to free it no bother. A job for a skilled man!!
