Hi from Dave and Carole,

We're both retired ( 4 years ago) and just getting into to Campervans. We bought an old camper in June this year just so we could drive down to Greece and check on our boat which we keep there and we got some sailing in as well. We enjoyed the travel experience - very much like boating on land - so we bit the bullet and ordered a new Fairford which is on the Fiat Ducato as we wanted automatic gearbox. We get the new van next month hopefully as the delivery date is end November to early December. The old van is going to a good home as soon as we get the new one. We will be driving down to Greece and back twice per year as we usually come back in July/August as it's too hot for us on the boat. So we will be doing a few miles in Europe but also expect to use the van in the UK to explore new places and meet new people.

Hoping to be able to contribute to the forum as well as glean information and advice from others.
