Hi everyone!
Hi everyone,
My Wife and I have just *recklessly* dived in and bought our first auto-sleeper! It's an '83 Bedford Cf250 4 berth.
We've been craving a a van project and travel for around 12 months, we've looked at folding caravans, pop-up campers, towing caravans and everything in between, but have never made the plunge, mostly because we have nowhere at our house to store any of the above, including the new Bedford we've just bought!!
We shelved the idea shortly before covid lockdown started and put our energy into a new summerhouse instead, which has been great during the summer months but really just renewed our appetite for spending time in a compact environment, and travelling.
We decided to throw caution to the wind, buy what we wanted and figure the rest out along the way (including where to store the * Inappropriate Word *!).
I know we will be using this forum extensively in the coming months to figure things out but we can't wait to get started.
Looking forward to getting stuck in and engaging with like minded forum members.

Hi Vandal, you've piqued my curiosity - where do you park your 'van?

Hi Slow-Lane
We are yet to collect it later today. In the immediate short term it will be parked on the road on our housing estate as close to the house as possible. We may need to move it around every few days so as not to aggravate residents (there is a no-campers/caravans policy on the estate). Longer term it may need to go into secure storage.
