Van Palace Introduction

Hi everyone, We live in Crystal Palace south London, I work in education, my wife is a writer and our boys are in primary school.

Our Clubman GL is our first camper. I grabbed it because:
Petrol engine is LEZ compliant
VW t4 so lots of support
Monocoque
Self Contained
Spacious feel
Fits in a parking space
54k miles
12k pounds

I love it. I am currently trying to find the best bed-seats to install in place of the sofas, there are many conundrums in this! We are also changing some of the textiles, changing the overcab cupboards into 2 kids bed pods and some other touches.

The aim is for this to pay for itself by being rented out on quirky campers. We live in a great community here and we're really looking forward to helping some other parents take their kids out into the countryside.
