A sad passing Empty A sad passing

Post by steamdrivenandy Mon Jul 27, 2020 10:49 am

Our boy Jack Jack passed on last week and Mrs SDA made this video for his memory.

All his litter were given Rolling Stones song titles as kennel names, I recall Breaksea Paint it black was a very dark slate with relatively little white and Breaksea Brown Sugar was a brown, of course.

JJ had an illustrious career as a puppy and came 5th in the Minor Puppy Dog class at Crufts in 2007 where he beardie bounced just as the judge looked away at the next contestant. That moment was captured on camera and Chris has turned it into a movie moment. The line in the song 'I was raised by a toothless bearded hag' is quite appropriate in that he was a bearded collie, though his mum Pepper was no hag.

Another coincidence is that I was at secondary school with Ronnie Wood and we both sang in the school choir.

Enjoy

Yes indeed. We know just how you feel.

You get far too attached to them don't you!

Gracie is 13 now, so with luck we shall have her for a while longer.
