I have nearly finished a Bedford cf Autosleeper 1980 renovation project a labour of love does any one know what colour the mustard coloured top section is

I think your best bet would be to get it matched by a paint company to be on the safe side

Welcome to the forum from a cooler, misty start in Bridlington. We had a CF back in the 80's,the chassis was rotten from the rear spring hangars back, once they were replaced it was a great van. post photos of the van , when you can up!
