Hello and welcome, Rosie (and Ronnie!).
Is this your first camper or are you an 'old' hand at this?

Hello everyone! Thanks for the welcome :)
This is my first camper, he’s an old fellow with some quirks but we’re getting on well right now!

Glad you've joined the camper community. Lots to learn to start with, sing out as you've been doing for any help.
When you've got it all ready for occupation,if you have it parked on a drive by the house then I always recommend spending a night or two in it before setting off further afield. That way you can familiarise yourself with how everything is set up, make sure everything works as it should and be sure you've got everything packed on board that you need. It's a lot easier to pop indoors for anything that may have been forgotten or worst case scenario if something critical fails, you can always sneak back into your own bed. Better than finding out a long way from home!
Main thing is to enjoy using it and make the most of the freedom of having your own mobile nest, once the current limitations are removed.
PS "an old fellow with some quirks!" - sounds like me!

This is a great idea, thanks rogerblack! I think we'll be sticking pretty close to home first time out (when all this rubbish is over!) but spending a night it in sounds very sensible.
First things first, give him a bit of a revamp
