Paint con.
We have a large chimney breast in our living room that gets a little discoloured due to the open fire. So it gets painted almost on a yearly basis.
A 2.5 litre can just about covers it with two coats. Last week I decided to paint it, and while I was preparing the wall my wife nipped up to B & Q and bought a can.
When I took the lid off I was amazed to see the level of paint was about 2 inches below the rim.
Looking at the label it was marked 2 litres, despite being in the standard 2.5 litre container!
The price was actually more than the 2.5 litre can I bought less than a year ago, what an utter con to keep the container the same size.
Al least when Quality Street etc reduce the weight of chocolates, they have the decency to make the container smaller..
