Autosleeper nubie
Hi fellow Autosleeper owners!
After 8 years of owning a mobile home, last autumn we got "itchy feet" and decided to sell the van and go back to motorhoming! As we are into our 70's we decided that a coach built would be too big so a van conversation was the only option. After spending some considerable time seeing what was available within our budget, and that had the features that we wanted, we decided on a Topaz. We found one for sale which was reasonably local, and after a viewing and test drive, it was purchased. We accepted that a 20 year old vehicle would not be perfect, but this one had a history of no advisories on the MOT, which was the main reason for our decision. The interior has had a hard life and a considerable amount of time and work has been required over the winter months to get it ready for this season, and it now looks good for its age. The only major job left is to replace the material in the blinds on the two large side windows. I have found a source for the material, but need some advice/guidance on how to go about the disassembly and replacement process - is anyone able to help?
In the meantime we look forward to our first outing in "Bertie" at the end of the month!
