Yet another new member!

Well, I have been lurking for a week or two tapping into the wealth of knowledge and experience on this site - so thank you one and all!

Have put the deposit down today on a 2001 Clubman GL (VW T4) and hope to collect it in a couple of weeks time. It's something I have hankered after for many years, having got a little bored with the two hours it takes (or took!) to set up camp under canvas. I took early retirement last year after a bit of a health scare, and now intend to make the most of it.

The first real outing will probably be with my son to Normandy in August; we were going to have a week under canvas, but it looks like we're in for a little more luxury now! I daresay I'll be unable to resist at least a weekend away beforehand just to check it all out though.

I fully expect to be asking you kind people for help and advice, but hope that in time I may be able to do the same for others who follow.
