Re: Ec700
Been told by sargent that the problem is a general slow down not responsive to buttons ,clock losing time .but mine shows none of this.

Re: Ec700
Update for your EC700 control panel will be required if your version number is shown as 40,41,42,43,44 and 45 as the new version should be 46 and should be updated at the earliest opportunity (By any Auto-sleepers dealer).
If your CP version is Number 39 or lower the panel does not need updating.
To check if your vehicle requires an update, at the control panel press the settings button(gear wheel) and then the right arrow button twice to view the "settings screen" and see your version number.

Spoke to dealer this morning he said issue mainly with Mercedes. If you have no signs of any slow down or any other issue with control panel. Leave it for now . As it will do a factory reset. We had a problem with step blowing a fuse so they changed the setting .I dont want the sam problem again.

These panels are a nightmare, bought a new corinium duo in September, used it for 3 nights to try it out, All OK so booked a ferry to Bilbao Spain for January, 5 days before departure the panel failed, as this was close to our departure and a replacement wasn’t available so had to cancel our departure to save 75% of our fare but we still lost £255.00, several days later the dealership called and a new panel was fitted, just had an email to say the unit wants an update, went to the van this morning to prepare it for our next trip and the New panel has failed and there is not one on the shelf to replace it, so now it’s another wait and another wasted day getting to the dealership to have yet another panel fitted, these panels must be so cheap to make and this makes me wonder what will happen when it’s out of warranty

Yes not good .thought they would use same panel on boxer and Mercedes. Strange Mercedes seems to have the trouble. When they are a dearer van we have a Broadway EB. As I said before think I am going to stay away from a software update.in case it goes wrong after

Mids, that would exactly be my thinking also if you have no issues until these serious problems are sorted out with the EC700.

Exactly the same for me including the step problem. The AS Service Centre offered the upgrade when I visited them last week but we all thought as its working OK now, leave it be. I'll be taking it back for a service in a few months time so we can reassess then.Mids wrote:Spoke to dealer this morning he said issue mainly with Mercedes.
