Scooter Rack
We have been looking at different racks to carry a scooter. The Easy Lifter - Hydra Trail is fixed to the tow bar with wheels that pivot. The benefit is a reduced overall length and 85% of the scooter weight is carried on the Hydra Trail not the vehicle. Is there anyone out there that has any experience with this trailer/rack. Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Scooter Rack
If you search for easy Lifter the topic has been raised a number of times. It appears not to be a TYpe Approved trailer and should not be on sale. This is one thread.

I'm glad I read the thread linked by Peter above as would have just repeated myself.

Re: Scooter Rack
I’ve owned and used the easy lifter for about 3 years .....done around 12000 miles with it...changed the wheel bearings once...
However....it does have issues .....the galvanising is very poor...I’ve modified mine quite heavily because the lifting method is frankly crap...
I’ve added storage too....
I don’t take any notice of the type approval threads, I just think that’s rubbish because it’s yet to be tested in court.
On the plus side, it does the job..it’s stable and easy to manoeuvre
And it’s cheaper than the French version....
But...if I has the choice again, I would buy the French one...it’s much better made and probably worth the extra grand or so!

Black Widow motorcycle carrier is a strong, lightweight, easy to maneuver, and durable scooter rack for RV. Owing to the interchangeable ramp, your bike can be easily loaded from both sides.

Very sturdy hitch. Drove about three hours to a nearby beach for a weekend vacation. I found the ramp size adequate because the hitch itself isn't too high from the ground. I am thankful that it has an anti-wobble locking device since it secures my bike in place and it ensures that I have a worry-free trip even with my bike attached to the back of the car.
