The Duchess
Hi,
Just to introduce us. We had a few happy years of camping in a tent before the midges got the better of us in Yorkshire. By the time we got our tent up we were both swathed like Lawrence of Arabia, and headed straight for the pub. As we were leaving the campsite, we passed a couple who just parked their camper and put the kettle on. Our last camping trip with the tent came a few weeks later on the Isle of Mull in sideways rain and gales that threatened to take the tent away in the night.
We considered all types of van before deciding on the Trident. Being near Wales and also loving Yorkshire we decided we needed something small enough to get up the narrow and twisty country lanes with stone walls, high banks etc. We have had it (The Duchess) now for four years and use it mostly for weekends, and love that we only need to get some fresh bread, milk and bacon and throw in our clothes and we can go at a minutes notice...
We've also had longer excursions to Europe a few times, visiting France, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Denmark. In the UK we've been to Cornwall and Scotland as well as our weekends to Yorkshire, Cumbria, Wales, and Shropshire.
We are looking forward to trip to Millau in France this year and lots of weekends.
Life is good ain't it

Hi there,
Welcome from a warm and sunny Skegness.
Can recommend that when you are in the Millau area you also visit the Roquefort cheese caves. The caves are at about 6 degrees all year round so take a sweater no matter how warm it is outside!
Best regards,
