Greetings
Hi.
I've been motorhoming and campervanning for many years.
Worked my way up from a self conversion of a Ford Anglia van in the 70's to an AS Pollensa 5 or 6 years ago and then back to a self build Transit Connect. Now need to get back into a smallish coachbuilt so scouting around for a decent 2002/3ish Clubman/Gatcombe.
I like to spend early summer in France - no route-plan just a list of aires. Travelling solo as I do at the moment, I rely on my sat nav, not so much to get me to places (I can do that with the aid of a map), but to get me out of places (towns) where I don't have the ability to consult maps as I drive.
I'm a C&CC member and use CS's in high season and Club Sites in low season.
I spend Jan/Feb/Mar each year down in South Africa where I spent much of my adult life and where my two children live.
Pleased to be here and already picking up lots of good stuff. When I get myself sorted with some vans to check out I'm sure I'll be back here with loads of questions.
Tony
