Welcome
Hi, We're Alex and Anne both new to Motorhoming. We swapped our caravan for Molly Moho last month and have already been away down to Yorkshire and back. We stayed at Wintersett on a non hook up site and a few places in Scotland. We used the shower in our Nuevo and found it quite slippy. I imagined some wooden slats might be the answer but thought it may be wise to ask what other members do.

Re: Welcome
Hello and welcome to this most friendly and informative forum. Perhaps the anti slip/protective shower mat is missing so need to inquire with the dealer. It should be a cushioned easily to roll up ribbed mat, dark grey in colour?

Welcome. We bought this matting. It comes in different widths and lengths.

Re: Welcome
Aha!! Thank you for your reply. There was a sort of Grey mat made of the materials similar to the ones that people place on shelves but it seemed home made and very lightweight and was not very well shaped and it stuck to my feet. If this is the one, we will put it back but I did wonder if there was something better. To be truthful it seemed that everything is so well designed and works so well that we were convinced that our mat was a DIY job. Thanks again for your wonderfully speedy reply.

The matting which Paulmold sent a link for looks ideal but I shall wait a wee bit in case there are any other suggestions. I really like this forum.

Re: Welcome
That soft matting that sticks to your feet is sold in caravan shops and seems to be the standard these days despite it being useless. We had it in our Sussex but had similar to my link in our Nuevo which was great but no longer available from AS , that's why I searched for better and found the above stuff.

Ah, I remember now, we bought a simple domestic shower mat to fit, clear plastic with suction pads. Therefore you'll have plenty of 'for the home' retailers to choose from costing about £5 or less. The grey mat I described protects the shower tray from damage when storing the Aquaroll and Fiamma grey waste tank etc.alex.l.wright@btinternet. wrote: I shall wait a wee bit in case there are any other suggestions. Hi, Alex, and welcome.
I see you're in Oban - lucky you. Next time you're in Benderloch check out the shop attached to the garage. I’ve not been in there for a couple of years but he used to carry a phenomenal stock of caravan/motorhome/camping spares and accessories from kettles to water pipe of any length. It wouldn’t surprise me if he keeps the shower matting.

Re: Welcome
That soft shower matting is useless, so owners have told me, all my vans had / have the hard rigid matting that AS use to fit, like Pauls picture above .
