Lichfield Cathedral - parking? Empty Lichfield Cathedral - parking?

Post by Cymro Fri Oct 04, 2019 9:32 pm

I've often thought of visiting Lichfield Cathedral, and on Wednesday next I have an opportunity (driving from Warwick CAMC site to Buxton CAMC site). Knowing that many car parks have height barriers (under which our Nuevo ES - 10' high - won't fit) I wonder if any Forum member can suggest convenient and suitable parking, and give any other tips based on local knowledge or experience?

My thanks in advance,

Beacon Park has three car parks all barrier free, also Beacon Street car park. If you need two spaces then as long as you pay for two that's ok. Beacon Street is probably the closest to the cathedral but the park isn't far either.

Been a couple of times (and with ASOC rally), it's a lovely city and park with loads going on. Enjoy it.
