Hi everyone
Hi everyone. We are Karen and Bill, proud new(ish) owners of a Stratford panel van. We chose this as we wanted a go anywhere vehicle and we only have a short driveway. We would have liked longer seats but this would have meant having a narrower van so it would go down the side of the house. Can't have everything can you! We have had a lot of short trips in it since getting it in Nov '11 and had every kind of weather! We are looking forward to some good weather and meeting the motorhome community. We are ex tenters and caravanners so have a lot of experience in most things but we are learning all the time about motorhomes. look forward to meeting/ chatting to you all.

Hi Bill and Karen
Great to meet another Stratford owner as there don't seem too many around.
We are still getting to know ours and sorting stuff out still, we changed from a Duetto in March and have found that despite the vehicles being the same length our stuff doesn't fit so well. But the heating is much better and I love the size of the fridge (it isn't as noisy as people say).
Happy vanning

Hi there,
Welcome from a chilly and overcast Skegness where we are grateful that at least it isn't raining.
We are setting a record for the wettest drought ever!
Best regards,

Thanks, we were there last weekend after the Peterborough show!! and it was very wet with lots of standing water. Had a good day in Cambridge. We missed the cut-off for booking for the show and they wouldn't let us on as it was so wet and they were short of room. Had to go to a "motorhome stopover" at a pub. Nice and quiet and friendly. got in to show free so not a total disaster.

Thanks guys, yes it is good to know there are others out there. Look forward to hearing if you have had any of our problems. Note; when we took it in once, the charging light wouldn't go out on the dash. They tried all sorts but we had to go to Peugeot who re-built the wiring loom under the bonnet where the wiper shaft had worn through it (common problem0 so watch for this as it's a headlight out job.Our bed makes up fine but we ripped the bedding on the razor sharp clip that holds the bed base stay. Cheers for now.
