Just Corinium based info
I’ve often wondered if I could get my rear wheels of in event of a puncture..or just for maintenance, without removing the wheel arch!
Well in a word no!! I lifted the rear with both wheels 6 inches clear of the ground, too height for practical use and in fairness safety!!!
The wheel arches still neede to be removed, paining the but or what? Stupid design fault if you ask me!

Suggest might read this earlier post on the wheel removal - which is peculiar to the Al-Ko chassis!
This has just been posted on Facebook. Don't know if any truth in it but could be useful if true..
"Latest update from Auto Sleepers ref the removal of the rear wheels on the 2018 Corinium. They are making arrangements for a modification to be fitted to replace the current fixed rear wheel covers. This will allow us to change the wheels as normal, if we ever need to. Great news!"

Hi Liam mine are post mod, the wheel arches are removable but that’s a pain too because they have a sealant that has to be removed and replaced!

Hi Ray,
Sounds like a real pain and not a very well considered mod to the original design flaw!
I cannot imagine that the Roadside Assist Man or indeed the Garage, for servicing, having a tube of "Flexi Seal" available to replace the wheel arch spats correctly!
I am aware that the Merc wheels are tight to remove but if you follow the correct procedure they are at least removable without taking the bodywork off!!
I think if I had your issue I would be having a word with the AS design team for a better solution!

I think it's only the 16" wheels on the heavy chassis, mines got 15" wheels and when we upgraded shocks on rear the wheels weren't an issue.

Yes it is just 16inch wheels, hopefully the sealant used is not too heavy!
However, I was with my friends a couple of weeks ago, he was driving to meet me in his Swift Balero, his nearside wheel arch fell off, very poor fixation method... I prefer my problem

My wheel arches had to be removed, modified and refitted ... I watched the process of fitment and there is only a very small amount of flexi filler used on the top edges of the arches. Still a PITA though !
