New Motorhome/Caravan sat nav
I have just received an email from TomTom about a new satnav they're introducing soon which I thought might be of interest to someone out there - providing you can afford £350 of course

CPC sell a TomTom for Trucks for £334 which is probably the same device/software under a different title.

Dont think you can beat the Snooper models for Motorhomes and caravans and being British Based in the North West you get very good support. Weight, Height, Width all programable with ACSI and Bord sites programmed in

Agreed! support home industry
For me, having a panel van, these systems aren't required, I manage quite well with an old version of TomTom (6.1) and Bridgex

Re: New Motorhome/Caravan sat nav
TomTom were too late bringing out this unit and have really missed a trick I think...
As posted elsewhere on the forum I opted for the latest Snooper S5000 unit but have reservations to be honest as with both units used simultaneously side by side TomTom / Snooper both take you on the exact same routes, so not totally convinced the dedicated motorhome / caravan sat navs are really much different to the standard car units, when I have used mine more I will have a better idea and this is the reason I have not posted an update on my experience of the Snooper just yet as I may be doing it an injustice but time will tell.
