A/S Orian Gemini Peugeot 2.2L 2006/07
Hi
I am looking at a very nice Orian with a view to updating my Talisman 2.0 petrol.
Cannot find any details online and would appreciate any advice on length, weight, payload etc
Regards
Eric

Hi Paul
Thanks for reply,it's definitely on a Peugeot Boxer 2.2,the only info I have seen is exactly what you have come up with.
I have tried the search engine before anyone suggests that.

Eric do you think it could be an Orian Zeta listed incorrectly as a Gemini? Just a thought.

Thanks Mrg
I have seen photos,it's got Orian on cab doors & Gemini under side windows, has side dinette on offside with bench seat on near side,I understand that Boxers have a good chassis,is the 2.2hdi a good power unit as that is the only thing against my 2.0L petrol 1999 Talisman

I am not say AS never stuck a Gemini on a boxer but they were supposed to be on a Mk7 Transit, maybe a few on the Mk6. The layout was of similar style to the Talisman/Pollensa etc.
The bathroom lacked the shower protection than the similar sized Windsor had insofar as it had a curtain, but it did have a gas fire fire as standard whereas it AS relations at the time just had ducted heating (unless you paid extra!!)
We nearly bought one but SWMBO liked the exteriour colour scheme on the Windsor better.

Thanks Roli, this must be a collectors item,as rare as hens teeth.I believe it has a separate fire to work on just gas, blown air gas and electric as I do not like the Combi blown air system.
How good is the Peugeot 2.2 hdi on mpg driven sensibly? Are there any known problems with Engine or Gearbox?

I stand corrected , I've found one on a Boxer. It's a sold listing from Moran Motorhomes.....

The length and weight etc is in the advert.

Hopefully you can get a test drive , I suspect you'll find the difference to the 2.0 petrol "chalk and cheese ".
Hope the viewing goes well.

Mr G your so right, drives a treat, handling about same as Talisman but response and pulling power so different from petrol 2.2.I have been used to Fiat 2.3 and 2.8 powered motorhomes in past.
I am collecting van soon after going through a service MOT etc.

That's great Eric.
I've a friend who changed his Executive for an Orian Zeta a couple of years back and he loves it.
Let's hope we get a bit more of summer for you to enjoy it!
Cheers Geoff

Orian Gemini
I have an Orian Gemini on a 56 plate with a Peugeot Boxer 2.2L engine they do seem to be as rare as hens teeth though as I haven’t seen another.
I have been delighted with it went on three month trip round Europe including Croatia and Poland last year, unfortunately no such trip this year!
