Don't let the forecast of high midge numbers put you folk off coming to Scotland.

Did I mention that we're heading for Yorkshire  hugegrins

Latest from Fort William area (Loch Sunnart) midge coming out in numbers during the damp warm conditions, dawn /evening mostly.
Numbers down during hot sunshine and in breezy conditions .
No midge here Tony,only cleggs.

Think I’ve mentionrd before....I live in a forest, I apply smidge every time I know the conditions are right for the wee * Inappropriate Word * lol I’ve worked in my garden, walked dogs in forest whilst using smidge and had barely a bite. I wouldn’t use anything else

Tell them to keep climbing.

I'm sure the view will be worth it when they get there!

Just wanted to let you all know, in the spirit of comradeship, we killed thousands of the little blighters on our way down from Scotland to Yorkshire.

If anyone doesn't believe me, the evidence is still on the front our van if you want to come and count them  snigger
