Stanton towbar
I’ve searched but can’t find anywhere that will or can fit a towbar to a 2017 Stanton. I even tried a number of stands at the NEC motorhome show but with no luck. I was told by one company that there are new EU regs which mean it’s nolonger possible to fit one. I’m not wanting to tow much - just a small trailer with my scooter on. Anyone managed to find somewhere that can help?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Stanton towbar
Watling Towbars list it although it does say chassis extensions need to be fitted.

Had a reply from Watling. They quoted me £1,230 to supply and fit a towbar.

Re: Stanton towbar
It would appear that it's the extensions that cost more than the towbar. Roadpro list the extensions as being £549, so no wonder you are being quoted prices in excess of £1200 Inc fitting.

Re: Stanton towbar
Also, check your V5 logbook. If it does not quote a figure for section "O" max permissible towable mass of the trailer, you will be able to fit a towbar, but not be legally allowed to tow anything.
If no figure quoted, get in touch with SV-Tech.
Good luck
