Hi gang
Quick review of our experience buying our 1st motorhome.
Firstly, the guys at the dealers were pretty good, we didn't have a clue what was involved in owning a campervan. They're based in Morecambe and sell quite a range of motorhomes from cheap n cheerful (ours lol) to more prestige circa £35k models.
They dont sell accessories nor have a garage on site to service/repair/MOT the campervans which is done about 5 miles up the road.
I'm not however keen on the Autoguard warranty. Its a 3rd party offering. They were OK when i rang them but its down to owner to find a garage to assess the work, and the garage then liases with Autoguard. Snag was for me, is that i couldnt find anyone (not locally anyway) who would either do warranty work or want to deal with Autoguard. Have to confess, i only rang 3 people up.
I did take it back to dealer, and fair play to them, fixed juddering breaks and the heater FOC for us as matter of course.
Not a terrible experience mind, faffy mind.
