Hi everyone.

We have just moved from "dragging a shed" to a 1995 Ford Transit Auto Sleeper and having had our first outing I must say how pleased I am we made the change.

"Franny the Tranny" as my wife has lovingly named it had a few issues we discovered after we had bought her (despite being promised everything was working!).
So far I have fixed the flush, the step, the fridge (for gas), the battery connections and the back door lock.
I'm waiting for a seal kit for the carver water heater as that was leaking like a sieve and had the gas pipe totally disconnected - hence the smell of gas!

Despite this, we are still very positive and looking forward to our next outing.

We have been made aware of the "Brit Stops" - I was wondering if there were any other places to stay\apps\info I should be investigating as I search this site for help fixing the other issues we are discovering.

Hello and welcome to this most friendly and informative forum. Congratulations on making good the faults you discovered so soon after acquiring your van and remaining positive.
