Towbar on Autosleeper Pollensa
I am wanting to carry a lightweight motorcycle on the back of a Ford Transit based Autosleeper Pollensa. To do this I need to fit a robust towbar. Has anyone got experience of this?

Think you would be best talking to someone like "Towtal Towbars" as they make pretty sturdy towbars and should be able to offer advice

Towbar for Pollensa/Ravenna
I have a 2004 Ravenna and have a Hope Safe-T-Bar towbar fitted. This is a very substantial bit of kit, expensive but very well made. They were a bespoke made towbar by Hope Tech Development of Ascot. These were originally recommended by Auto-Sleeper for both Pollensa and Ravenna on the Transit chassis. I cannot recommend it enough. Not sure if they are available now as mine was a special order direct with Hope in 2007.

I have now got a towbar fitted!
Thanks to all who offered advice..............Watling Engineers at Park Street, near St Albans (01727 873661) keep towbars for many Autosleeper models. They took a Pollensa towbar out of stock and fitted it in a couple of hours. They also supplied a motorcycle rack. Their website includes a lot of advice and you can enquire on-line whether your 'van is capable of carrying a motorcycle on its towbar. They are competent, friendly and efficient. I can recommend them!
