Hello all.
We are a retired couple, and live in Great Ayton, nr Middlesbrough on the edge of the North York Moors, Captain Cook spent his childood schooldays in our village.
We owned a Hymer Camp for 7 year's during which time we extensivlly toured the continent. 3 years ago, thinking our camper days were over, we sold our van, a move we eventually bitterly regreted. Having missed the freedom and sheer joy of motorhoming for 3 years, last summer we bought our current van. Last June we toured southern England for 4 weeks, going as far as Cornwall, in June into July this year we're touring France to Luxembourg, the Mossel, the Rhine and retuning via Belgium and (depending on the time we spend on the "rivers") possibly Holland.

Nice to have you on board. Know Great Ayton well, it was a Sunday afternoon run out for Ice Cream!! (we used to live in Yarm)
In those days we were tuggers and the trip to Cornwall from Teesside was a right pain on a Friday night.

Hi Mike D
Another North Easterner here although I lived further north up near Wooler. Still go up a few times a year.
Have been in Manchester for 10 years now but we visit White Water Park at Stockton quite often and enjoy cycling around there a lot.
enjoy Holland I lived in the South of Holland for a couple of years and loved it. Valkenburg is lovely and the caves are an interesting visit.
