It's a long shot I know, but does anyone know of a specific make of washing up bowl that will fit into the sink in a Sussex Duo please. On my last trip I thought that it would be useful to use one, to dump the water into the hedges etc.  But despite visiting various motorhome shops, camping outlets, kitchen equipment providers and general stores, I cannot for the life of me find one the correct size.  So if anyone knows of one that definitely fits, and where to buy it, I would be most grateful.

I also need a small kitchen bin for scraps and waste. This has to be a very specific size and location due to the layout and size of the cupboards. So any comments on that, particularly from sussex/Warwick duo owners, would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance
Sally

I presume you read this thread, is your kitchen sink a different size?

We had one in our Sussex when we bought it. It's now in the garage.

I hadnt seen that thread, but my sink is different. It has a built in draining board etc. I’ll measure up the collapsible ones, although I would prefer ye olde solid plastic ones.

As an official member of the spendthrift club, I accept that as a real possibility.  hugegrins

Your sink is the same as mine. One of these fits and the lid closes for travelling. https://www.addis.co.uk/classic-95l-bowl-core-range.asp

As for a waste bin, we just have a very small pedal bin which sits between the cab seats on site and travels in the washroom.

That’s a good idea, it may come to that. The cupboard space is slightly restricted, so although I would prefer a bin in there out of the way, it may not be possible. So a small one stored locally may be the only option.

Take a look at the Brunner bin. I want to see one in the flesh before I order one. I think it would hook over the little cupboard door on the right as you enter (on the back of the washroom wall.)

That’s a good idea, I hadn’t thought of that door/space. As you say it would be useful to see it in the flesh.  The online products NEVER end up looking like they do on the screen!

I’d no cupboard space to spare for a bin. Free standing was the way to go.

I think our vans are the same.

The Brunner doesn't go in the cupboard but hangs on the outside.

Update on the bin - never got to see a Brunner bin and wasn't prepared to pay £20 without seeing, so settled on this one which hangs over the cupboard door as you enter. It was £6.99 including postage all the way from Hong Kong. There are sellers in UK but they want £14.
The white surround allows you to put a bin liner inside and holds it in place. Could have done with it being a bit longer but for £6.99 it will do.
Delivery took 10 days from Hong Kong arriving 5 days before the earliest predicted date.

I ordered one of these and as you say it fits perfectly and the lid closes.  Many thanks for that  smile!
