Hello from Suffolk
Hi, just to say hi really.
We have just sold our Holdsworth Villa XL, we looked at autosleeper troopers before but the 'as new', 'great condition for year' never really seemed as true as we hoped. So, we bought the Villa.
However, we still hold that love for the Trooper and so are now on the search again, we hoped to have one by now but alas, it hasn't come to be. However, as we are looking as as we keep visiting the site, we thought it was time to join.
We hope to find a VW T4, Autosleeper Trooper, around £10,000 as new as possible really, of course we could go up or down a little either way depending on the van, are there any specs we should be looking for, any issues we should look for? We bought our villa not really knowing much about vans and then spent money on new water tanks, fridge repairs etc, owner said, we never used these things but I'm sure they work!!!!!! At least the new owner got a good van. Who knows, the right van may be on our doorstep as so many other have said. What do people think and what should we be looking for.
Hope to have one soon and look forwards to waving.
For now, time to look around the forum for more tips and advice

Re: Hello from Suffolk
Welcome to ASOF Boosboy
We were looking at Holdsworth Villa's but a local dealer had a Trooper and side by side there was no comparison, for us the Auto-Sleeper had the edge on the finish of upholstery and fittings and just looked so much nicer, from that point we were sold on Auto-Sleepers but went on to purchase a Trident which we really enjoyed owning... Hope you find something soon!
