There is a Facebook group called
The Friendly campsites open all year under £15 group. I have a feeling it used to be £10 when first started

One of the best guides I have come across and use is the site finder on UK Campsites and it’s free. It also includes club sites and 5 van sites

I am not sure if this is the same Facebook page as paulmold talked about,
Under £10 sites - no chat
As the title suggests it is purely an information exchange of sites at £10 or less. It has a database that you can work through. Private group so you need to join. I am a member but being in Ireland don’t get to use it much, so my knowledge is limited.

Re: List of camp sites for £10
Been using Moonfruit for some time now, but only for its massive range of pubstops
We virtually never now use UK campsites, for the following reasons:-
1 Need to book, usually, therefore no spontaneity
2 Can be rugrat infested!
3 Why pay £15 to stop in a muddy field miles from anywhere?
We do use, mostly, municipal campsites in France and Spain, however
Pubstops have been, mostly great so far, maybe one in ten we wouldn't re-visit. We abide by the rules to the letter, always contact the pub beforehand, always make ourselves known on arrival and always check that where we have parked is agreed with the pub.
Always eat/drink in the pub as well.
As a precaution we'll select the "chosen" pub and have one or two others nearby in case the chosen one is not what we'd like or feel safe in.
Use leisure centres for showers, public toilets to dump the cassette
Works for us, also, once you know a good pub, on a route you use often, then its dead easy to revisit!

Re: List of camp sites for £10
Hi everyone and thanks to all who replied to my request for camp sites under £10
It appears that moonfruit is the site to use
Been using Britstops for the last 2 years but this site has many more pubs to choose from we always eat/drink at the sites
just a query what is a rugrat infestation ! refered to by ianH sounds like we need to avoid !
Thanks again Mike

Re: List of camp sites for £10
off season the big commercial sites are worth an investigation, I have have had nights for £1 (plus EHU if you want it)
Some of the big Cornish sites can be had for around a tenner sept ember October time (with EHU)
Park, Parkdean etc offer serious discounts off season
People still talk about CLs /CSs at £5 a night Im sure they exist somewhere but Ive never found one
