Re: 2014 Solar Panel
There is large amounts of information and advice on this forum with regards to fitting a solar panel if you search. For example even though IanH has a different MH to yours this might help:Doonhamer5 wrote:Our 2014 Malvern has a solar panel - will this be 40W? How easy it it to replace/increase?

I purchased and fitted my SP on my Kemerton some time ago and similar to many others used this firm:

Re: 2014 Solar Panel
Hello everyone! Been very late in implementing this work.
Mike187 - how do we get into this casement? Just a screwdriver? Looks to be exactly the same for Malvern as for the Broadway. Picture below. Hoping that Sargent wiring is 4mm and will fit OK.
I think we are going to go for the semi-flexible solar to save the weight. Photonic Universe said they could spec everything we need back in January.

Re: 2014 Solar Panel
Yes it is standard electrical trunking that the top clips into the base and you need to pop it off with a screwdriver.
Can't confirm the exact gauge of the Sargent wire but it was certainly a lot thicker than the wires on the originally fitted 100 watt panel.
I hope everything goes well your fitting.
