VW Sandy owner
Hi,
Picked up my 2006 VW Sandhurst 2.5 auto a few weeks ago. Only had 9,500 on the clock and was immaculate inside. So far so good - had to change the leisure battery as it wasn't holding a charge, other than that ok so far!
Been out a couple of times and found a few things I'd like to change - the interior lights for LEDS, fit solar, upgrade the original single din cd/radio to something with satnav/ BT/ apple/andriod etc. Looking to get a hab door lock on too. The original drop down tv isn't any good and has been romoved - that needs a replacement once I've checked the aerial and amp is working.
Think thats it for now ;-)

from Warrington
That seems a very low mileage, our last van was 2007 and it had over 30k miles on when we sold it coming 3 years ago and this one has just under 9k on it now and has had a relatively easy life due to my health

Spoke too soon!! Went to drop a few things off today and noticed a drip from the roof light. There's a split in the Heki 3 frame (BG1256) that's letting water in - trying to find somewhere that's got one to pick up asap but I'm getting no reply from the phone justcaravanparts.com though. Will try again and also a couple of others

Yeah, awaiting stock - 2-3 months!Paulmold wrote:Leisureshopdirect are pretty good, have you tried them?
Jonathan from Bentley Caravan and Motorhomes in Halifax said he might have one in stock - he's going to let me know tomorrow.
Got a couple of others lined up, just a bit narked that justcaravanparts haven't replied to my messages and email. I really would like this sorting asap before it ruins the ceiling! Seems to be running straight through the crack and dripping straight down now - I've remove the inner frame that the water was pooling in and soaking into the ceiling panel. Will go back to the storage yard in the morning and see.
