Hello both, wonderful pictures of the West Coast; must point the van northwards before too much longer!
I worked around the region including both the Inner and Outer Hebrides quite a bit when I was at sea and even managed to get ashore in St Kilda! Always planned to revisit when I had more time. No excuses now!!

I enjoy that area of Scotland and as much as I’ve recently made Kirkcudbright my second home, it’s still a little too far south for my liking and I would love eventually to move nearer Oban.

I didn't post my actual favourite photo from 2018 as it was of a private wine tasting on the Mosel and included a picture of another forum member who may not wish to be associated with such an activity.

ASOC Members can read an account of our Scottish trip, penned by Chris, in the December magazine.

Fab pics from everyone! Our highlight 2018 has to be the outer Hebrides . Now I’m a big fan of Scotland , and over the years, even before motorhoming, I thought I’d seen the best of it. Sutherland and Torridon areas are hard to beat for scenery and drives. Arisaig is one of my fav go to places.....but.......OMG the outer Hebrides are something else!!! The sea, the beaches, the roads, the mountains though not the highest....seem like they are! The food....the people....it’s just wow!!!!! And motor homes are well catered for.

I can’t wait to go back!

I have a pic of me in that same spot, but it's back at home, I'm in NZ at the moment, Northland. Is that Mt Cook in the background? Did you go on a helicopter trip up the Fox glacier?

Our tour of the Pyrenees, eastbound from Santander through the Spanish Pyrenees to the Med, then back west through the French Pyrenees to Bilbao.

Trip of a lifetime and best possible use of a Mh!
