Helloooooooooo
Well, exactly one week ago today I collected my 2014 Kingham. I've been sorting rattles and am now ready to starting packing ready for my first trip. No idea where that will be to though!
I live on the Island of Anglesey in North Wales and enjoy travelling to Scotland and the Lake District. My trips all seem to involve driving to the M6 and heading north, so I'm thinking I need to explore places to the south as well!
Looking forward to being part of this online community. I was lurking for awhile when looking for a van, and it seems like a very friendly place!

‘Tis a friendly forum.
Be interested to know what if any modifications the previous owners did to your Kingham.
Welcome from South Wiltshire and another Kingham owner.

Thank you for the welcome! Don't think they made any modifications at all. They didn't go far 13,500 miles and kept everything in very good condition though.
Have you modified your Kingham? And have you managed to stop the washroom door from rattling!? And yes, I do have a bit of a thing about rattles........

Mods to Kingham
we
At present we are converting the former microwave cupboard to have a shelf with door as ours collapsed.
We added an Avtex TV in the lounge.

We have probably done a few I forgot, but we increased the plated weight to 4500 kgs as we will want to tow and carry a few extra bits n pieces and felt the spare weight capacity was too little.Pengy wrote:ymfb1 wrote:‘Tis a friendly forum.

Welcome from another Kingham owner.. if you've gone for the Avtex TV, I can thoroughly recommend the sound bar too. It transforms the sound quality and can also act as a blue tooth speaker.

You've been busy! I'd read about problems with the microwave shelf, so I'm going to see how much I use it....
A TV is on the list, but definitely not towing something!

Thank you for the Welcome! Not decided on which TV yet, or where to put it! Think it will be Avtex or Falcon though. I was thinking of attaching a bracket to the wardrobe so it would be above the foot of the bed. Then I realised how little clearance there is when the bed is raised!

Thank you for the welcome! I would often rather have the cold of the east coast than the warm, wet and windy of the west!

Re: Helloooooooooo
I think we've got the best of both worlds... bracket on both sides of the wardrobe so we can watch it when on the sofa/front chairs or move the telly to watch it in bed! Or, if we won the pools we could even buy a second TV!! How daft would that be! With the cabling factory fitted on both sides of the cupboard the option is there! :-)Pengy wrote:PitStopCrew wrote:Welcome from another Kingham owner.. if you've gone for the Avtex TV, I can thoroughly recommend the sound bar too. Now that's an idea! Something else to explore!
Enjoy your TV on these soon to be dark evenings....
