Help please... we’re a bit chilly!
Hello from The Cotswolds... We’re trying out our Whale space heater for the first time (on an electric hook up). All good for about 20 mins then the fan (& heat) cut out and a red light flashes twice repeatedly on the control panel. The handbook tells us it is because it’s overheated. We can switch the heater off and on again quickly (after allowing a few minutes, like the book says) to clear the fault but then it happens again. We’ve made sure the ducts in the shower and the one at the kitchen end of the settee are open and don’t think there are any others (no others mentioned in the handbook). Any ideas / advice please? Caroline:confused3:

That’s great Paul, thank you. We’ll give them a ring tomorrow. We’ve got the heating turned down to medium heat on the middle setting & has been on for a while now steadily blowing out warm air. Fingers crossed! Caroline

The Whale heater is a new one on most of us. We're more used to Truma and Propex so I don't think you will get much help from members, that's why I think a direct call to Whale would be more help.

Paul, just seen your second message... We're gradually increasing the temperature & are still on the middle setting. All OK. Might go to the highest fan speed this evening and see if it stays on! We will call Whale if we get the same issue. Many thanks, Caroline
