Sargent 328
I would like to remove the front of my Sargent 328 unit to ckeck my solar panel control unit .does the unit have to be removed from the wall .or can the front be removed any advice ,tips dos or don'ts.please.

I think the front fixings are at the back (top) and on the bottom surface, so removal is required,

I had to remove my EC328, but it was in a different conversion than yours. You may also find that the cover fixing screws are security Torx - they were on mine.

Removed my EC325 the other week-wires extremely short-so not a lot of movement unless unplugged.

Thanks for replies, One of my concerns is the short cables and having enough room to unplug them .I can sea 4 side screws that look like they retain front panel are their more screws on the base that make complete removal necessary . bazz
